Dear friends,
Over the past few months, I chose to step back from sending out these newsletters. The planetary alignments spoke more of tension than harmony, and rather than fill your inbox with caution or heaviness, I waited. I waited for a time when I could bring you something truly hopeful — a window of grace, a sky turning clear.
That time has arrived.
On October 18th, Jupiter enters Cancer, its sign of exaltation — and with it, something beautiful opens. For me, this marks the moment to return to your side and once again walk this path together, sharing the wisdom of the stars with sincerity and goodwill.
What makes this transit even more special is that it begins during the sacred month of Kartika — the month of devotion, of light, of love. And within these first 10 days, we enter a Pushkar period — one of the rarest and most auspicious windows in Jyotish. Pushkar itself is a time of blessings and spiritual renewal, but for it to occur within Kartika… that is something extraordinary. A time when heaven seems a little closer, and grace flows more freely into the world.
My prayer is simple: that by reading this message, and by attuning your actions to this wave of goodness, you may receive its full blessings. That Jupiter’s exalted presence may guide your choices, soothe old wounds, and remind you of what is truly possible.
Let’s begin again — with trust, with clarity, and with joy.
Jupiter in Cancer (Oct 18 – Dec 5, 2025): A Return of Grace
From October 18th to December 5th, Jupiter makes a brief but powerful visit to Cancer, its sign of exaltation. Though short, this transit arrives with a kind of quiet clarity — as if a long-lost wellspring has opened again.
Jupiter enters not just Cancer, but Pada 4 of Punarvasu Nakshatra — a deeply nourishing lunar mansion ruled by the Moon. It holds the Shakti of renewal, and the symbol of a quiver of arrows — reminding us that the path ahead is not only being revealed… it is being blessed.
This moment also brings a rare Pushkar period within the sacred month of Kartika, amplifying Jupiter’s benevolence tenfold. It’s a window of spiritual abundance, emotional protection, and bright possibility. And it comes not only to remind us of what’s ahead — but to gently soften what has come before.
The Setup: Punarvasu & Pushkar
- Punarvasu always carries the energy of return — a coming back to center, to simplicity, to inner trust.
- Pada 4, aligned with the Moon, brings this renewal directly into the emotional and heart- centered realm.
- When Jupiter transits this zone, it activates a Pushkara Navamsha — one of the most auspicious places in the zodiac, where healing and growth become natural and deeply supported.
- The first 10 days of Jupiter’s time in Cancer are marked as the Pushkar period — a time long revered for sacred bathing, charity, and spiritual practice. It is said that any sincere effort made during Pushkar bears fruits far beyond what we expect.
In simple terms: we’re stepping into one of the most spiritually nourishing astrological windows we’ve had in quite some time.
Why This Transit Matters
- Jupiter’s exaltation uplifts Saturn, currently residing in Pisces — a sign ruled by Jupiter. The two enter a subtle harmony: structure meets grace, long-term plans are quietly supported.
- In Cancer, Jupiter acts not through logic but through feeling. Your intuition sharpens. Your heart steadies. Relationships may heal or re-align with mutual care.
- There’s a gentle pull toward generosity — helping others, giving without expectation. As if the soul naturally wants to pour out its light.
- Around October 27, Jupiter casts a trine to Mars in Scorpio. This energizes your actions — a great time to act on inspiration and chase a meaningful opportunity.
- November 12, Jupiter turns retrograde, giving you a chance to revisit something you recently paused — a relationship, a project, a spiritual path.
- By November 20, Jupiter aligns with Saturn, offering grounded perspective in financial, professional, or long-term matters. This is a good time to plan carefully with confidence in the bigger picture.
A Gentle Reminder
Because this transit is brief, not everything arrives fully formed. Some blessings come now as seeds. Some may not bloom until Jupiter returns to Cancer in June 2026 for a longer, deeper stay.
Use this time to listen. To notice. To act with quiet intention.
Also, Jupiter’s retrograde phase asks that we revisit our spiritual, educational, or moral compass. If there’s something you left half-undone, or a path you paused on — now is the time to return with clarity.

Growing with Grace
Here are a few ways to align with the blessings of this window:
- During the Pushkar window (Oct 18–28), set time aside for chanting, meditation, prayer, or heartfelt intention.
- Give something — money, time, kindness — without expecting anything in return.
- Revisit a dream or effort that felt paused. You may now be ready.
- Keep a dream or insight journal — Jupiter speaks softly in this placement.
- Take care of your heart. Let it rest, open, and be nourished.
Jupiter in Cancer offers a gentle reminder: life is still full of possibility. You are still held by grace. Let your path open quietly, steadily, from the inside out.
With love, reverence, and hope,
Vasanta Das
